## Portfolio

### At The Threshold (2026)

At the Threshold presents an extended arm and hand holding an old-style key, isolated from the rest of the figure like a fragment or excavated relic.

The key suggests the possibility of passage—the moment before something opens or one state gives way to another—but its meaning is deliberately left unresolved. It might represent access, an answer, an opportunity, or simply something that remains out of reach. The fragment holds the figure at the threshold without revealing what lies on the other side.

### Emerging (2026)

Carved from Ontario marble, the piece shows the struggle of becoming represented by our own hands holding ourselves back.

---

### A New Man (2026)

A New Man is a figurative sculpture modelled in clay and cast in plaster using traditional mould-making techniques. The figure emerges from a simplified, enveloping form, with areas of closely observed anatomy set against surfaces that retain evidence of modelling and casting. An acrylic patina gives the plaster a mineral quality, connecting the work to my broader interest in weathering, geological transformation and the figure as something shaped by time and change.

### For Dear Life (2026)

*Ontario Marble*

Carved from Ontario marble, For Dear Life depicts two figures held in a close embrace. The sculpture moves between closely observed anatomy and passages left rough or unresolved, allowing the original mass of the stone and the process of carving to remain visible. The work considers attachment, protection and the effort of holding on, while the marble’s natural variation and inclusions become part of the figure.
