# Artsume: Full Documentation > Artsume is the professional network for the art world, built on verified credentials. Artists build one verified professional identity (CV, portfolio, statement) that organizations recognize and that opens doors to opportunities. Artists apply to grants, residencies, exhibitions, fellowships, commissions, and more with one click. Organizations create opportunities with custom application forms, review submissions using blind review and scoring rubrics, collaborate with review teams, and manage relationships through a built-in Affiliated Artists workspace. Scoped to the organization that owns the key. #### Opportunities - `GET /api/v1/opportunities`: List opportunities for the authenticated organization - Scope: `read:opportunities` - Query params: `status`, `type`, `limit` (max 100), `offset` - `GET /api/v1/opportunities/[id]`: Get opportunity details - Scope: `read:opportunities` - `POST /api/v1/opportunities`: Create a new opportunity - Scope: `write:opportunities` - Body: `{ title, description?, type?, status?, deadline?, visibility? }` #### Applications - `GET /api/v1/applications`: List applications for the organization's opportunities - Scope: `read:applications` - Query params: `opportunity_id`, `status` (`submitted` | `withdrawn`; other values ignored), `limit` (max 100), `offset` - `GET /api/v1/applications/[id]`: Get application details - Scope: `read:applications` - `PATCH /api/v1/applications/[id]`: Update an application's write-state, outcome, score, or reviewer notes - Scope: `write:applications` - Body (all fields optional): `{ status?, decision?, release?, score?, reviewer_notes? }` - `status`: the write-state — one of `draft`, `submitted`, `withdrawn`. The retired process/outcome values (`under_review`, `needs_more_info`, `accepted`, `rejected`) are no longer accepted and return a validation error. - `decision`: the deliberate outcome — one of `accepted`, `waitlisted`, `rejected`, `disqualified`. Writes the authoritative outcome fact (separate from `status`). Setting a decision does NOT change `status`. - `release`: `true` to make the decision visible to the applicant (stamps the release marker). Requires `decision` in the same request. - Response: the same three-field shape as GET (`status`, `decision`, `external_status`). **Application response shape (BREAKING CHANGE):** the application object now separates write-state, outcome, and the applicant-facing label into three distinct fields: - `status`: the write-state — one of `draft`, `submitted`, `withdrawn`. (Previously this field carried process/outcome values such as `under_review`, `needs_more_info`, `accepted`, `rejected`; those now collapse to `submitted`.) - `decision`: the deliberate outcome — one of `accepted`, `waitlisted`, `rejected`, `disqualified`, or `null` when no decision has been recorded. This is the authoritative outcome fact. - `external_status`: the derived applicant-facing label — one of `draft`, `submitted`, `under_review`, `action_required`, `decision_pending`, `accepted`, `waitlisted`, `rejected`, `withdrawn`. Outcome values only appear here after the organization releases the decision; before release a queued decision surfaces as `decision_pending`. ### LLM-Friendly Markdown Endpoints These endpoints return content as plain markdown, optimized for LLM consumption: - `GET /api/md/guides/[slug]`: Guide content - `GET /api/md/learn/[slug]`: Learn article content - `GET /api/md/changelog/[slug]`: Changelog entry - `GET /api/md/community/[slug]`: Community post - `GET /api/md/opportunities/[id]`: Opportunity details (title, description, requirements, deadline, fees, organization) - `GET /api/md/a/[handle]`: Artist profile (bio, statement, portfolio, CV) - `GET /api/md/o/[slug]`: Organization profile (description, open opportunities) ### Public Data Endpoints - `GET /api/artist/by-handle/[handle]`: Artist profile JSON - `GET /api/organization/by-slug/[slug]`: Organization profile JSON - `GET /api/opportunities`: Public opportunity listings --- ## Dynamic Routes - `/a/[handle]`: Artist profile page (e.g., `/a/jane-doe`) - `/o/[slug]`: Organization profile page (e.g., `/o/moma`) - `/opportunities/[id]`: Opportunity detail page - `/apply/[id]`: Application form for an opportunity - `/wallet/[handle]`: Digital business card - `/embed/profile/[handle]`: Embeddable artist profile widget - `/embed/work/[id]`: Embeddable artwork widget - `/guides/[slug]`: Individual guide page - `/learn/[slug]`: Individual learn article page - `/changelog/[slug]`: Individual changelog entry --- ## Legal & Contact - [Terms of Service](https://www.artsume.com/terms) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.artsume.com/privacy) - [Contact](https://www.artsume.com/contact) - [Contact Sales](https://www.artsume.com/api/contact-sales): POST endpoint for sales inquiries --- ## Authentication - [Login](https://www.artsume.com/login): Sign in with email/password - [Sign Up](https://www.artsume.com/signup): Create a new account (artist or organization) - [Forgot Password](https://www.artsume.com/forgot-password): Password reset flow --- ## Additional - [Sitemap](https://www.artsume.com/sitemap.xml): Full XML sitemap - [llms.txt](https://www.artsume.com/llms.txt): Concise version of this document
