## About

Literary journal publishing fiction, nonfiction, poetry, interviews and reviews, with annual awards.

American Literary Review is a literary journal that publishes fiction, nonfiction and poetry, along with interviews and reviews. It releases issues each season, such as Spring 2026 and Fall 2025, featuring work by many contributing writers.

The journal also runs Flash Flood, a recurring feature that names and publishes winning flash pieces. It holds the annual American Literary Review Awards, announcing winners each year, and it seeks distinctive, character-driven stories and pays authors for published fiction.
