The Art Gallery of Hamilton (AGH) is an art museum in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, occupying a 7,000 square metres building on King Street West, designed by Trevor P. Garwood-Jones. Established as the Municipal Gallery of Hamilton on 31 January 1914, it opened to the public in June 1914 in a Hamilton Public Library building on Main Street West. It relocated to Westdale in 1953 and to its current location in 1977, with renovations from 2003 to 2005 by Bruce Kuwabara. The permanent collection includes over 10,000 works by Canadian and international artists, organized into Canadian, contemporary, and international categories.
