## About

Australia's flagship state art museum overlooking Sydney Harbour.

The Art Gallery of New South Wales is one of Australia's flagship art museums and the state's leading visual arts institution. It serves as a centre of excellence for the collection, preservation, documentation, interpretation and display of Australian and international art, and a forum for scholarship, art education and the exchange of ideas. In 2022 it completed the Sydney Modern Project, expanding into a two-building art museum campus, Naala Nura and Naala Badu, connected by a public art garden overlooking Sydney Harbour.

Each year over one million visitors explore its collection and exhibitions with free general entry.
