## About

A platform celebrating and amplifying the voices of artists of color.

Art Melanated is a platform dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the voices of artists of color, sitting at the intersection of art, community, and culture. It provides a space for diverse artistic expressions to flourish, fostering meaningful connections between artists and their communities. The organization organizes and presents exhibitions and art fairs, including the SAVAGE Emerging Artist Competition, a juried competition for emerging artists from the African diaspora. It is led by husband-and-wife duo Sol Aponte and Jennia Fredrique.
