Bloedel Reserve is a 150-acre public garden and forest preserve located on Bainbridge Island in Washington's Puget Sound. The reserve features groomed trails winding through Pacific Northwest woodlands, meadows, sculpted landscapes, and gardens. Recognized by The New York Times as one of the country's most original and ambitious gardens, and named one of North America's 10 Best Botanical Gardens by USA Today, Bloedel Reserve is dedicated to the belief that being present in nature elevates and nurtures the human spirit. The reserve was founded on the vision of Virginia Bloedel, who believed nature heals hearts and minds and enriches communities.
