## About

A professional orchestra performing at Symphony Hall in Boston and at Tanglewood.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is a professional orchestra that performs regularly at Symphony Hall in Boston and at the Koussevitzky Music Shed at Tanglewood in Lenox/Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Its season, led by conductor Andris Nelsons, includes classical programming with guest soloists, open rehearsals, and community-focused events. The BSO recently reached a new collective bargaining agreement with its musicians, represented by the Boston Musicians' Association, running through August 2029, and is undertaking a collaborative search for its next music director.

The orchestra describes its mission as bringing the highest quality musical experiences to its community.
