## About

Contemporary art museum in the Bronx offering free admission, exhibitions, education programs and artist fellowships.

The Bronx Museum of the Arts is a contemporary art museum that connects diverse audiences to the urban experience through its permanent collection, special exhibitions and education programs. It serves as a crossroad where artists, local residents, and national and international visitors meet, reflecting the borough's dynamic communities.

Admission and public programs are always free, and the museum works to uplift marginalized artists and give audiences in the South Bronx and beyond access to creative and cultural experiences. Its art-educational programming connects communities with the artistic scene and cultural history of the Bronx, and it supports artists through career programs such as the AIM Fellowship. The museum is currently undergoing a major renovation, funded by over $42.9M in City support, while remaining open Wednesdays through Sundays.
