## About

A charity supporting senior professional artists through mentoring, webinars, community and advocacy.

The Canadian Artists Network (CAN) supports senior professional artists so they can keep working and serve as role models for the next generation. Its Artist to Artist Mentoring Program pairs experienced artists with emerging ones. CAN also runs webinars, the OnSalons networking events and an annual Summit for senior artists. It advocates for senior artists by investing in research, collecting data and urging public funders to remove ageism barriers. CAN was founded in 2011 as the Canadian Senior Artists Resource Network (CSARN) and is a registered charity.
