## About

Artist-founded nonprofit museum on Cape Cod with a permanent collection, exhibitions, classes and events.

The Cape Cod Museum of Art, known as CCMoA, was founded by artists in 1981 and presents itself as the home of Cape Cod art. It cares for a permanent collection and mounts changing exhibitions, including juried and community shows.

The museum also runs an education program with adult and youth classes, a ceramics center, pottery classes, art and Alzheimer's programs and scholarships. Artist talks, workshops and events fill its calendar, and a museum shop features local artisans. As a nonprofit, it relies on donations, volunteers, sponsors and corporate members to keep art accessible to the Cape's communities.
