## About

Illinois state agency managing public construction and the Art-in-Architecture program.

The Capital Development Board (CDB) is an Illinois state agency responsible for managing public construction projects, including the Art-in-Architecture Program. Through this program, the CDB commissions permanent original public artworks for state-funded buildings and facilities across Illinois. The program connects professional Illinois artists with opportunities to create site-specific works for public spaces, supporting both the arts community and the cultural enrichment of public infrastructure.
