## About

Ryan Heffington's choreographic artist residency in the Mojave Desert at Twentynine Palms, California.

DESERTRADE is Ryan Heffington's artist residency in Twentynine Palms, California, in the Mojave Desert. It hosts individuals and small teams of up to three artists who need time, space and stillness to create new work.

The residency welcomes choreographers and dance-makers who explore movement as an artistic practice. It gives them an environment to develop new ideas, deepen their process and bring emerging works to life. Residents are chosen through an annual open call, and applications for the 2027 residency are now open.
