An online gallery weaving personal migration stories from across the world into a living, growing tapestry.

The Gallery of Human Migration is an online gallery and storytelling platform dedicated to preserving and sharing personal narratives of human movement across borders, generations, and cultures. Founded in 2003, the Gallery operates through its website as its primary exhibition space, weaving together a living collection of migration stories contributed by people from every continent. It honours Indigenous voices as foundational to understanding migration, having received the Eagle Feather award from the Huron-Wendat First Nation for its commitment to Indigenous perspectives. The Gallery hosts initiatives including a literary award, artistic collaborations, and a travelling red box project that collects migrant memories worldwide. Its mission is to hold migration not as historical record but as an ongoing, shared human experience.
