## About

A Turkish contemporary art center bridging cultures through international artist residencies.

Helikon Art Center is a contemporary art center and association based in Kocaeli, Turkey, dedicated to fostering cross-cultural dialogue through art. Operating under the Helikon Contemporary Art Association, it runs long-term international residency programs that bring artists from neighboring countries to Turkey while also promoting Turkish contemporary art abroad. The center hosts artists in residence and provides access to stone, wood, and metal workshops alongside gallery exhibition space.

Its flagship project, "Neighbour's Country – Neighbour's Culture," has welcomed Iranian artists (2019) and Ukrainian artists (2021), with Armenian artists invited in 2026.
