## About

Arts council serving Michigan's Huron Valley region with exhibitions and juried art markets for local artists.

Huron Valley Council for the Arts (HVCA) is a nonprofit arts council founded in 1999 by local community leaders to enhance the cultural life of the Huron Valley region, encompassing Commerce, Highland, Milford and White Lake townships as well as the Village of Milford. The organization is headquartered in the Highland Station House, a historically significant former church and public library building in Highland, Michigan, where it operates an exhibition and performance space called Steeple Hall alongside The Art Shop, an in-house artist cooperative. HVCA's mission is to enhance the cultural life of its region by promoting and sustaining the arts for people of all ages through programs that enrich, entertain and educate.

Its vision is to be recognized as the preeminent arts and cultural center in southeast Michigan.
