## About

Nonprofit visual arts centre whose art lending library and exhibition space make original artworks accessible.

L’Artothèque is a nonprofit visual arts centre based on the principle of a library. It lends original artworks from its collection and presents exhibitions in a gallery space.

It sits at the crossroads of an art centre, a museum and a library. Access to exhibitions and to the collection is free, and it also runs creation workshops and cultural mediation projects for all audiences. The organization is a member of the Société des musées du Québec and Musées Montréal.
