The Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (LHUCA) is a nonprofit arts center in Lubbock, Texas, dedicated to cultivating and celebrating all the arts by inspiring creativity and engaging with the community. It began in 1997 as the Lubbock Regional Arts Center and was renamed in 2004 in honor of co-founder Louise Hopkins Underwood. Its campus houses four art galleries, a 160-seat Firehouse Theatre, a clay studio, and additional event spaces, hosting over 20 exhibitions annually along with concerts, dance, theatrical, and film programs. LHUCA also manages the First Friday Art Trail, a self-guided monthly art event in Lubbock's Cultural District, and partners with Texas Tech University, local nonprofits, and K-12 programs.
