La Manchoza is a self-directed artist residency set on a 4,000 m² off-grid property in the mountains near Tapalpa, Jalisco, Mexico. Founded by sculptor Ana Paula Luna and programmer/builder Juan Lanzagorta, it offers artists, writers, makers, and researchers a private house and studio facilities for uninterrupted, autonomous creative work. The residency places particular emphasis on sculpture, with dedicated wood-carving, ceramic kiln, and bronze-casting facilities, alongside spaces for painting and writing.

There are no mandatory workshops, schedules, or communal activities; residents typically stay from one to six months. The property runs on sustainable, off-grid infrastructure, including solar power, rainwater harvesting, and reclaimed-material construction.
