## About

Montreal museum preserving 3.2 million objects and images across six collections.

Anchored in Montreal for more than 100 years, the McCord Stewart Museum bears witness to the history of the city, its influence across Canada and the world, and the vitality, creativity and diversity of the individuals and communities that make it up. It is the guardian of six rich collections totalling 3.2 million images, objects, documents and works of art, positioning it as one of the reference museums in North America. Committed to decolonization and to sustainable museum practices, it designs exhibitions and educational, cultural and civic activities that take a critical, inclusive look at social history and contemporary issues affecting its audiences.
