## About

A nonprofit advancing education, exhibition, and community in the ceramic arts.

NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education, creation, and appreciation of the ceramic arts. It is best known for organizing an annual conference that draws thousands of clay artists, educators, and enthusiasts from across the United States and abroad. The organization supports a wide range of contemporary ceramic practices, from utilitarian and decorative objects to sculpture, installation, and performance-based work.

Its programming includes conference presentations, juried exhibitions, and a Resource Hall connecting businesses and nonprofits with the ceramic arts field. NCECA also actively promotes inclusion, equity, accessibility, and diversity within the ceramic arts community.
