## About

South Korea's national museum of modern and contemporary art, spanning four branches.

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA) is South Korea's national museum of modern and contemporary art, operating across four branches — Seoul, Gwacheon, Deoksugung and Cheongju — plus a Children's Museum. It presents a rotating program of exhibitions and stewards the national art collection, including the MMCA Lee Kun-hee Collection and the thematic MMCA Collection 300 series. Beyond exhibitions, MMCA runs international artist and researcher residency programs, a library and archive, and the Art Bank art-loan initiative.

It serves as Korea's central public institution for modern and contemporary art.
