## About

Membership society for pastel artists offering education, competitions, workshops and community across the West Coast.

The Pastel Society of the West Coast is a volunteer-run membership society that promotes the pastel medium through education and outreach. It offers members juried competitions, including a members-only online show, along with online workshops and a regularly published magazine featuring artist showcases and educational articles.

The society also runs a guest blog, a scholarship program for students planning a career in art, and a Regional Representatives program that organizes in-person meetups and excursions for members in different areas. A board of volunteer artists leads the society.
