## About

Member-supported contemporary art center in Rochester presenting exhibitions and public art since 1977.

Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) is a member-supported nonprofit arts organization founded by artists in 1977. It presents a rotating program of exhibitions across several on-site gallery and video spaces, welcomes general and video submissions for future exhibition seasons, and organizes public art projects and walks around the city. RoCo also runs COMP Studios, an artist residency that gives artists temporary workspace to advance their practice while engaging the public. The organization is sustained by a diverse community of members, donors, and supporters, and hosts free public programming such as artist talks, opening receptions, and an annual open-call members exhibition.
