Its visitor offerings include attractions, behind-the-scenes tours, camps, live animal cameras and seasonal events.

The zoo works on wildlife conservation, with programs covering climate change, fighting extinction, a wildlife health and science centre and animal adoption. It also runs education programs for schools, including visits, virtual programs and a Grade 11 Zoo School, and it hosts events and corporate partnerships.
