## About

A Venice-based cultural association running artist and writer residencies in the historic Jewish Ghetto.

Venezia Contemporanea is a cultural association based in Venice's historic Jewish Ghetto that organizes residency programs for artists, writers, and scholars. It operates two residency spaces, La Storta and Skyline, offering studio, exhibition, and living accommodations to participants. The organization focuses on research-driven, site-specific projects engaging with the cultural legacy of the Venice Ghetto and Jewish heritage. It partners with organizations such as Galleria ScalaMata to produce fully and partially sponsored residency programs.
