# The Verdant Fund

*Foundation / private collection • Mobile, AL, United States*

## About

Funds bold, public-facing art by artists across Alabama.

The Verdant Fund invests in artists working outside traditional spaces, supporting projects that engage communities, challenge conventions, and expand access to contemporary art. It prioritizes public-facing work, experimental and nontraditional formats, and underrepresented voices and perspectives. The fund supports individual artists, artist collectives, and collaborative and community-based projects based in Alabama.

Applicants must be working in visual art or related interdisciplinary practices, with proposals reviewed by an independent panel of arts professionals before funding is awarded.
