## About

Vermont's state arts council, providing grants and programs for artists and arts organizations.

The Vermont Arts Council is the primary provider of funding for the arts in Vermont, working to build a state where artists thrive and everyone has access to creativity in their lives, education, and communities.

The Council offers a variety of grant programs for both individual artists and arts organizations, along with programs that engage Vermonters of all backgrounds, including the Governor's Arts Awards, the statewide Poetry Out Loud recitation competition, and a disaster resilience network.

As a non-profit organization, the Council receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Vermont state legislature, private foundations, corporations, and individual donors.
