## About

Artist-led foundation supporting sculptors through grants and residencies.

The Virginia A. Groot Foundation is an artist-founded and artist-led organization dedicated to advancing three-dimensional sculptural art. Since 1988, it has advocated for artists working in sculpture, celebrating the creative use of material, form, scale, function and intention. The foundation supports artists of all backgrounds and career stages through grants and a residency program, connecting new and established artists to the cultural landscape.

Its mission centers on investing in creative endeavors that help artists realize their vision across each stage of their journey.
