## About

A Richmond arts center offering classes, studio access, residencies and exhibitions.

The Visual Arts Center of Richmond, known as VisArts, is an arts center that combines exhibitions, classes, residencies and shared studios. It offers access to 17 professionally equipped studios covering clay, creative writing, digital media, drawing and painting, fiber, flameworking, glass, letterpress, metals, darkroom photography, printmaking and wood.

VisArts runs residency programs for artists at all stages of their careers, including an annual residency. It also hosts exhibitions in the True F. Luck Gallery and organizes the annual Craft + Design contemporary craft show.

Through community and school partnerships, it gives hundreds of people free access to art classes, and its Second Friday classes are offered at a low price.
