## About

International festival for image-based art, fostering creative and scholarly exchange.

VISUREAL·International Image Art Festival (VIIAF) is an international platform dedicated to image-based art, integrating artistic practice with research-driven curatorial inquiry. The festival fosters creative and scholarly exchange by welcoming a wide range of image-based works including photography, video art, short films, animation, interactive media, AI-generated imagery, and AR/VR installations. VIIAF treats image as an open visual language, re-examining the cultural significance of the Silk Road and exploring its relevance to contemporary art and society. Participants engage as creators, researchers, and cultural observers, contributing to ongoing dialogue on image, history, and culture.
