## About

A community of 17 working artists with private studios in Indianapolis, open to the public.

Wapahani Art Center is an artist studio collective in Indianapolis, Indiana, housed in reclaimed riverfront warehouses along the White River. It provides private studio space to 17 working artists, with doors that open to the public for studio visits and community events. Studios include utilities, Wi-Fi, free parking, and 24/7 access, and the center hosts artist event nights alongside its working studios. The name Wapahani honors the river's original Native name, meaning white sands.
