We have asked several well-known pastel artists as judges and offer more than $5000 in prize money and hundreds more in art material or vouchers from our sponsors. Participants must be 18 or older. Each artist may submit up to 5 paintings. 80% of the work must be dry pastel. Oil pastels will not be accepted. Your work must be original, not copied from other artists or published materials. That means only your own reference material is allowed! All artworks must be originally drawn and not created on top of a base photo or print. All work must have been created within the last three years. Tasteful nudes are allowed. Works done under supervision, such as in a workshop or class are not eligible. No entry that has previously won an award in another PGE show is allowed. ### Categories - Still life / Florals - Landscape (includes Seascape, Cityscape and Interior) - Animal - Portrait / Figure Failure to meet any of the requirements for eligible work may result in the work not being juried. ### How to enter To submit entries, log in above and click Enter This Show. Please follow these requirements carefully when preparing your images: - Only jpeg image files will be accepted. - Files should be as close as possible to a resolution of 1920 pixels @ 72dpi on the LONGEST side. - File size must be smaller than 4 Mb and in sRGB colorspace. ### Fees PGE members: $30 for up to 3 entries and $10 for each additional entry, with a limit of 5 entries in total. Non-Members: $45 for up to 3 entries and $10 for each additional entry, with a limit of 5 entries in total.
