## About This Program

> "Art"

Boston Open Studios is an annual open studio event held in the Boston neighbourhood of Bellville, Cape Town. Now in its sixth year, it brings together local artists, craftspeople, and creatives who open their studios directly to the public — allowing them to sell their work at studio prices, bypassing gallery commissions of up to 60%.

**Participation is open to artists and creatives who live or work in Boston, Bellville.** We welcome a wide range of disciplines, including visual artists, photographers, ceramicists, fashion designers, writers, winemakers, and more.

The 2026 event takes place over two days for the first time: **Friday 4 December (13:00–18:00)** and **Saturday 6 December (09:00–17:00)**, giving artists more opportunity to connect with visitors, share their creative process, and sell their work directly.

This is your chance to be part of a growing community initiative that celebrates independent creators and brings art lovers straight to your door.
