## About This Program

Site-specific exterior mural commission for the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre (CLLC), located at 97 Queen Street in downtown Charlottetown, PEI. The mural will be painted directly onto 3mm aluminum composite material (ACM) panels installed on a concrete retaining wall wrapping the front and sides of the building, totalling 409 square feet across two surfaces. No prescribed theme; the artwork is expected to strengthen the connection between the library and the community, engage with the site's purpose, and add to the welcoming atmosphere of the CLLC. The mural must be original, site-specific, and suitable for permanent outdoor public display in PEI weather conditions. The selected artist or team will paint on-site in Summer or Fall 2026. The commission will remain on public display for approximately five to ten years.
