# 2026 Art in the Park

## About This Program

Latcham Art Centre is accepting visual art vendor applications for Art in the Park 2026 from artists aged 12-17 and 18+. Art in the Park is a vibrant community outdoor art show and sale featuring a variety of artists, music, and an atmosphere filled with creative energy. Featured artists offer a variety of mediums, including fine art paintings, jewelry, pottery, textile art, photography, and more. The event includes artist demos and opportunities for the public to meet with artists. Entries are evaluated on a bi-weekly basis; early applications are recommended.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** Regional
- **Disciplines:** painting, jewelry, ceramics, textile art, photography, mixed media
- **Age Requirements:** 12+ years old
- **Note:** Annual Juried Exhibition is open to Ontario-based artists only. Art in the Park is open to artists aged 12–17 and 18+. All artworks for the Juried Exhibition must be dropped off in-person at Latcham to be eligible for jurying.

### Additional Requirements

Annual Juried Exhibition: up to 2 recent works completed in 2024–26, in any medium; in-person drop-off at Latcham required; online pre-registration by March 6, 2026; $35 + HST non-refundable fee per artist. Art in the Park: apply via website.

## Compensation & Benefits

$1,000 in prizes for the Annual Juried Exhibition, including 3 Juror's Awards and 1 People's Choice Award. Art in the Park is a show and sale where artists sell their own work.
