Our ambition is to be the best show possible for those exhibiting with us, and our commitment is to balance the show, so it showcases artists' work as unique and provides the potential for sales. We invite more artists than we have available spaces to ensure a full, well-curated show. You cannot showcase jewelry unless accepted in that category. - Application Fee: $45 per medium by 1/10, $55 per medium 1/11 until full - Number of Artists at the Show: Limited to 95 fine artists and fine crafters - Parking: Free - Past Attendance: 8-10,000 - Security: 24 hours, Police - Tent Rental: Limited Tent Rental from Rose Squared Art Shows (First come) ### Jury Process Artist excellence in original work is the sole criteria for selection of exhibitors. Images are reviewed by jurors in a blind jury online process. Artists are assigned a number and judged only on the digital images submitted, not on any other qualifications. The digital images will be displayed in one row showing 4 images of art and 1 of booth. The identity of the artist is not disclosed to jurors. The jury is comprised of three art professionals. Artistic excellence and a well-balanced show are the criteria for the selection of exhibitors. Scores are averaged together. ### Categories Rose Squared Art Shows reserves the right to re-categorize an artist's submission. Buy/Sell is not allowed in any category. You must be juried into the jewelry category to sell any jewelry in your booth. - Apothecary: Handmade natural organic soaps, lotions, and powders. Photo of booth and product are required. - Artisanal Food: Packaged for home consumption. Must be approved by Rose Squared. Photos of both booth and food are required. - Candles: Artisan candle maker crafting unique, small-batch candles using high-quality wax, hand-poured in their studio. - Ceramics: Original functional and/or non-functional works other than jewelry created by the artist from clay, porcelain, stoneware, and/or earthenware. No factory produced work, no RAM pressed work allowed. - Digital Art (Computer) ### Rules - COI listing Rose Squared/Art-Linx as additionally insured is required, due 45 days before the show. - Artists are responsible for proper liability insurance and protection of work and booth. - A photo ID (driver's license or passport) of the artist is required during check-in. - Artists must be present during the entire event. No dealers, agents or representatives will be permitted. - Work done by a production studio is not acceptable. Rose Squared wants artwork made by the hands of the artists selling the work. - Buy-sell and/or imports and weapons are not allowed. Work from kits, commercial designs, or done in classes/workshops are prohibited. - No sharing of booths is allowed. Only artists who have been juried will be allowed to display. - All artists' work on display must be for sale. - Tents/Canopies (White) are required, professional grade, with a minimum of 40-pound weights on each corner. ### Booth Information Booth spaces are approximately 10' wide by 10' deep. 15' and 20' booths are also available on a limited basis. All exhibitor tents must be white in color. Electricity is NOT provided; battery operated electric is welcomed. No Generators. Police security is provided the entire show, however anything left in the booth overnight is at the artist's own risk. ### Refund and Cancellation Policy Your booth fee is your commitment to the show. If you withdraw because you have been accepted into another event, your booth fee is forfeited. If you need to withdraw due to life circumstances, any withdrawal (by email) 65 days or more before the event will allow you to use the booth fee towards another Rose Squared show within a one-year period. Jury fees are always nonrefundable. There are no rain dates for the show. ## Eligibility & Requirements - **Disciplines:** apothecary, artisanal food, candles, ceramics, jewelry, glass, painting, digital art - **Note:** Work must be made by the hands of the applying artist; work from production studios, kits, commercial designs, or done in classes/workshops is not acceptable. Buy-sell and imports are not allowed. Artists with work in different media categories may apply with multiple applications, up to 3 per show. Jewelry must be applied for and juried separately from other categories.
