# Call for Submissions: Erin Arts Festival 2026

## About This Program

En plein air painting competition and group photography exhibition celebrating artistic responses to place, atmosphere, and community in Erin, Ontario. Painters may compete live on June 20 in a six-hour same-day painting event judged by the Erin Arts Festival Committee, with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Painters and photographers may also submit previously completed works for exhibition-only consideration. Works must engage landscape, architecture, community, or environment. Selected artists exhibit at 'The Kitchen', 67 Main Street, Erin.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Career Stage:** Emerging artist, Established
- **Geographic Eligibility:** Regional
- **Disciplines:** painting, photography
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Canadian artists, 18 years of age or older, residing in Ontario. Works must be original and completed after January 1, 2020. Photographers must submit works completed after January 1, 2020.

### Additional Requirements

3–5 works compiled into one PDF (max 25 MB), emailed to jm.erinartsfestival@gmail.com. PDF must include an image of each work, exact dimensions including frame, a brief statement (max 100 words per work), and artist name and contact information. $30 non-refundable application fee via e-transfer to ra.erinartsfestival@gmail.com.
