# Artist Call - KITCHY XMAS Art Show

**Hosted by:** The Art Hunger Gallery

**Type:** Exhibition | **Location:** The Art Hunger Gallery, Redding, CA, United States | **Deadline:** November 28, 2026

## About This Program

> "Kitschy Xmas / maximalist, nostalgic, joy-first holiday aesthetic"

Kitschy Xmas is a celebration of the vibrant, the tacky, and the delightfully nostalgic. The goal is to lean into the aesthetic that celebrates bold choices, the maximalist, nostalgic, and joy-first approach of the holiday season. Artists are invited to submit work that feels like a 1950s blow-mold Santa or a brightly colored tinsel explosion. If your work is neon-bright, vintage-inspired, or just plain fun, it belongs on the walls.

Artists may submit up to five (5) works for consideration. All mediums and styles are welcome, including three-dimensional work.

### Requirements

- All submitted works must be exhibition-ready: properly framed or wired
- Unframed works on paper or panel will not be accepted
- Sculptural and 3D works must be structurally sound and suitable for public display
