# Open call for summer residency, Italy

**Hosted by:** La Casa Etruria

**Type:** Residency | **Location:** Latera, Viterbo, Italy | **Deadline:** September 12, 2026

## About This Program

Come and join a self-directed and self-catered residency in the middle of the medieval village of Latera (Italy), in the beautiful and intriguing region of 'La Tuscia Viterbese', north of Rome and near the Tuscan border, between Umbria, Tuscany, Lake Bolsena and the Tyrrhenian Sea. We are inviting artists for a 2 to 4 weeks residency. The residency - a 2-floor house - offers comfortable accommodation for 1 artist/couple/2 artist-friends (2 beds available).

Painters, writers, photographers, designers, illustrators, musicians and researchers are all welcome. The workspace is in-house and is suitable for working at small to medium sized works. The program is set by the applicant. At the end of a stay of 3 or 4 weeks, it is possible to have an exhibition in the local museum 'Museo della Terra Latera', or in a former small church.
