## About This Program

> "Resonance of Connection"

Now in its fourth iteration, LUMINEX is a world-class outdoor art and technology exhibition that offers creative voices the opportunity to connect with the public at-large. NOW Art initiated this experience as an artist-led public art exhibition and response to revitalizing the community. As artworks continue to push the boundaries of digital technology, placing site-specific works that are large-scale, conceptually driven and accessible to the public, is at the heart of contemporary culture and art today. Artists have a unique stage and moment to connect with the public through sound, light and motion. LUMINEX 4.0: Resonance of Connection will take place November 7–8, 2026 in downtown Los Angeles. Seeking multiple forms of art across disciplines including projection mapping, interactive pieces, sound, performance, sculpture, and other installations. Selected artists should be able to form concept proposals informed by the curatorial statement with the ability to be adjusted in terms of scale and site-specificity to physical location.

### Additional Requirements

Submit qualifications with up to 10 entries (0–3 pieces per submission). Maximum file size: 50MB per image. Accepted file types: GIF, JPG, PNG.

## Compensation & Benefits

$1,000 honorarium + production and technical costs covered

**Includes:** Honorarium

$1,000 artist honorarium for participants. Any production and technical costs will also be covered based on review and approval of artist concepts.
