# Viewpoint Photographic Art Center Call for Exhibit Proposals 2027

## About This Program

Solo and small group photography exhibitions in Viewpoint's Main Gallery and Step Up Gallery in Sacramento, running four weeks each. Main Gallery open to all photographers; Step-Up Gallery reserved for current Viewpoint members. Selected artists show a minimum of 20 prints from a cohesive body of work; final count set by the Curatorial Committee based on print sizes and available wall space.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Disciplines:** photography
- **Note:** Step-Up Gallery proposals restricted to current Viewpoint members. Artists who have previously had a solo or small group exhibit at Viewpoint must wait three years before submitting another. Maximum two proposals per artist; proposals must be differentiated by exhibit title.

### Additional Requirements

20 digital JPG images (sRGB color mode, minimum 1200px on long side, maximum 50MB per file). Entry Description: exhibit title plus a short paragraph on goals, concepts, and themes. Indicate gallery preference (Main Gallery, Step-Up Gallery, or Either). Maximum two proposals per artist.
