## About This Program

> "Myth"

Two-day outdoor installation art festival on the grounds of RiverBrink Art Museum, overlooking the Niagara River. The 2026 theme is Myth—exploring mythmaking, fantasy, folklore, and the tension between truth and storytelling from varied cultural perspectives. Work must engage with or reflect on the Niagara region and the theme. Third annual festival; all applications assessed anonymously by a selected jury.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Disciplines:** installation
- **Note:** Open to all artists working in Canada. Artists outside the Niagara region are welcome provided the work reflects on or engages with the region and theme. Successful candidates must attend the festival in person on September 5 and speak with the audience about their work.

### Additional Requirements

Submit as one PDF: CV, artist statement, project description, visual supporting materials (portfolio, mockups if proposing new work, or images of referenced works), budget (if proposing new work), and technical notes (if applicable).

$600 honorarium per selected artist
