## About This Program

> "Contemporary practices and new media"

London Ontario Contemporary Art (LOCA) is a hybrid gallery/project space opening in London, Ontario in January 2027. We are currently looking for expressions of interest from artists, performers and curators world wide who have any interest in showing their work in this mid-sized Canadian market. We are an artist-run space whose goal is to bring diverse international work to our city.

Whether you are a solo artist looking for a venue for an exhibition, a collective, a curator or any mix/combination we'd be interested in hearing from you. We are currently set up with affordable rental fees for exhibitions in the gallery but we are also offering a number of subsidized (free) slots for selected exhibitions. We are currently unable to pay the artist or any expenses unfortunately but we can provide official letters of invitation so you can write grants in your home country.

We focus on contemporary practices and new media including, but not limited to, installation, painting, sculpture, audio/visual, performance and any matter of mixture of these.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Disciplines:** installation, painting, sculpture, performance, new media
- **Note:** Open to any and all artists worldwide, including solo artists, collectives and curators. Focus is on contemporary practices and new media.
