## About This Program

HUGO RIVERA GALLERY is thrilled to announce a juried open call for our upcoming INTERNATIONAL group exhibition, "THE SPACE BETWEEN" at the Hugo Rivera Gallery in Laguna Beach California, U.S. THE SPACE BETWEEN is about exploring what exists between moments, ideas, emotions, people, places, and realities. It Explore what exists between the seen and unseen, connection and distance, reality and imagination. We invite artists of all mediums to interpret the spaces, moments, and emotions that exist in between.

Mediums: Open to any medium. The exhibition will consist of two-dimensional work in all media.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Career Stage:** Emerging artist, Established
- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Submissions are open to all artists 18 years and older, established and emerging artists. Location eligibility type: International. Eligible applicant types: Artist. Submission limit: 1. Open to any medium, but the exhibition will consist of two-dimensional work in all media.

Wall pieces must be wired for hanging and no larger than 24" W X 30" H (dimensions include framing and mounting). Accepted work cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the exhibit. The artist is responsible for the cost of shipping or mailing artwork to and from Hugo Rivera Gallery using UPS, Fed-X or USPS; a return shipping label and return postage must be included with the artwork or work will not be accepted.

Artwork not collected after Nov 1 will incur a $5 per day storage fee; if the gallery does not receive a response from the artist within one month, the artwork will be donated to a nonprofit organization.

### Additional Requirements

Submit digital images of your work (Images: min 1, max 7; total media min 1, max 7). Submit JPG or JPEG digital images. File dimensions: 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side. File size: 5 MB maximum. You are welcome to send more than one angle or a close-up image of any work, however, please keep in mind that we only display 1 image per artwork.

For 2D works please crop the picture to be of the ARTWORK ONLY. Use a photo-editing app, if necessary, to remove excess shadows/highlights/blurriness/etc. Entry fee includes first image $35.00; $5.00 for any additional image; maximum of 7 images. Submission limit: 1.

## Compensation & Benefits

The artist is responsible for the cost of shipping or mailing artwork to and from Hugo Rivera Gallery using UPS, Fed-X or USPS. A return shipping label and return postage must be included with the artwork or work will not be accepted.
