## About This Program

> "Freedom, harmony, and vision of a unified America; America's 250th anniversary"

WHAM Art Center invites artists to celebrate America's 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with a special exhibition exploring freedom, harmony, and vision. In a time of division and polarization, this show asks: What would a unified, creative, and harmonious America look like? Artists are encouraged to explore these themes in any medium—painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, mixed media, or experimental forms. Works may be literal, abstract, symbolic, or conceptual; all approaches are welcome as long as they embody freedom, creativity, and hope. As part of this commemorative exhibition, WHAM will highlight artwork by veterans whose creative voices reflect lived experiences of service, resilience, and the enduring meaning of freedom.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** National
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media, collage
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Open to artists 18+ residing in the United States. Artwork must be original, created by the submitting artist, and completed within the past three years. AI-generated artwork is not eligible. Artwork previously shown at WHAM Gallery will not be accepted.

### Additional Requirements

1–5 entries per artist ($40 for up to 5 entries). Images must be JPEG or PNG, 1MB–5MB, 72 dpi, max 20MB per image. Each entry requires: title, materials, dimensions (H×W×D in inches), year completed, and sale price. All artwork must be priced for sale. Files labeled as FirstNameLastName__EntryNumber.jpg.

## Compensation & Benefits

All artwork must be for sale; WHAM retains 25% commission, artist receives 75% of retail price.
