# SEKTOR30 Printmaking Artist Residency

## About This Program

### Open Call

Artist-in-Residence Programs provide printmakers with the opportunity to produce a body of work in a supportive atmosphere that fosters creative growth and development, for both traditional and innovative printmaking techniques. We provide a creative space for printmakers from all over the world and studio space for local artists. We are located in Neos Kosmos, Athens (Greece, Europe).

There is no specific open call to apply for a residency at Sektor30. Applications are accepted throughout the year, and places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend applying well in advance to ensure that we can accommodate both you and the requirements of your project.

### Residency duration

Minimum stay: 1 month

Maximum stay: 3 months

If your project requires a longer period of development, please contact us to discuss the possibility of an extended stay.

### Application Process

To apply for the SEKTOR30 Artist Residency, please send the following materials by email to air@sektor30.org, with the subject line "SEKTOR30 Artist Residency Application"

- A completed application form
- A one-page resume/CV
- Visual documentation of recent work: 5 JPG images, up to 10 MB total

### Selection

Sektor30 team selects projects based on their quality and feasibility, giving priority to proposals centered on printmaking. Projects should be achievable within our studio and compatible with the facilities, equipment, and technical expertise available. The selection process also takes into account the artist's statement and previous work.

### Cost

- 1 month: 960€ (including VAT)
- 2 months: 1,800€ (including VAT)
- 3 months: 2540€ (including VAT)
- weekly extension: 275€

The Artist in residency fee includes:

- Full access to the studio during opening hours
- Private work table & flat file
- Access to basic studio materials and tools
- Priority booking and press reservations
- Discount in studio workshops
- 8 hours technical support per month
- Weekly AiR talks
- Open studio day at the end of the residency

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Disciplines:** printmaking
- **Note:** Priority is given to proposals centered on printmaking. Projects should be achievable within the studio and compatible with the facilities, equipment, and technical expertise available.

## Compensation & Benefits

This is a fee-based residency: 1 month costs 960€, 2 months 1,800€, 3 months 2540€, with a weekly extension at 275€ (all including VAT). The fee includes full studio access during opening hours, a private work table and flat file, access to basic studio materials and tools, priority booking and press reservations, a discount in studio workshops, 8 hours of technical support per month, weekly AiR talks, and an open studio day at the end of the residency.

## What's Provided
