# Impact Behind the Lens Photo Competition

## About This Program

> "Social entrepreneurship, community impact, and positive change in underserved communities"

We invite photographers to submit compelling images that celebrate Social Entrepreneurs and moments of positive change and community impact. This competition highlights how social entrepreneurs interact, innovate, and empower others to shape their own futures. Topics may include (but are not limited to) alleviating poverty, climate resilience, women's economic power, access to water, regenerative agriculture, education and skill development, healthcare and well-being, environmental sustainability, cultural preservation, social justice and equality, and entrepreneurship in underserved communities. No photos of children. Entries judged on relevance to theme, emotional impact, composition, technical excellence, storytelling, and creativity.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** International
- **Disciplines:** photography
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Open to photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional. Must be 18 or older. Original lens-based photography only (film, digital, smartphone, scanner, screen capture, composites allowed). No AI-generated images. No full or partial nudity. No photos of children.

### Additional Requirements

1-2 original lens-based photographs (jpeg/jpg, high resolution, max 5 MB per image, minimum 1,200 pixels on longest side). Brief narrative up to 500 words explaining the photograph's context, significance, impact, and how it reflects positive change within the community. Signed Santa Clara University photo release. Uploaded through CaFÉ My Portfolio only.
