## About This Program

> "Art educators as practicing artists — work developed beyond the classroom"

### Opportunity Summary

Art Center Waco (ACW) proudly invites active and retired art educators from McLennan, Bell, Falls, Coryell, Limestone, Hill, and Bosque Counties to submit original works for Art Edu, a juried exhibition celebrating educators as practicing artists.

Open to emerging and established artists working across all mediums, this exhibition recognizes the creative lives of those who teach, mentor, and inspire others through the arts. It offers art educators an opportunity to share work developed beyond the classroom and highlights the personal artistic practices that continue alongside—and often inform—their work as educators.

Proceeds from artwork sales directly support both participating artists and Art Center Waco’s exhibitions, education programs, and community initiatives, helping ensure continued access to meaningful arts experiences throughout the region.
