# Archway Gallery's 18th Annual Juried Exhibition

## About This Program

Annual juried exhibition open to Houston-area 2D and 3D artists who are not gallery members. Works must have been completed within the last 3 years, independent of a class or workshop, and not previously exhibited at Archway Gallery. This year's juror is Donna Tennant, a longtime Houston art historian, writer, and editor. Fifty percent of all exhibition sales will be donated to Friends for Life, a Houston animal shelter. Artists may submit one or two works. Cash prizes are awarded for first ($500), second, and third place, plus Honorable Mentions at the juror's discretion. The first-place winner also receives one month of guest artist privileges at Archway Gallery.

## Eligibility & Requirements

- **Geographic Eligibility:** Local
- **Disciplines:** painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media
- **Age Requirements:** 18+ years old
- **Note:** Open to Houston area artists age 18 and older. Works must be completed within the last 3 years, independent of a class or workshop, and not previously exhibited at Archway Gallery. Current Archway Gallery members and staff, employees, or board members of the community partner (Friends for Life) or the juror may not enter. All submitted work must be for sale.

### Additional Requirements

Submit 1–2 digital images in JPG format (GIF and PNG also accepted; max 50MB per image) via EntryThingy. Entry fee of $30 for one or two works. Titles and prices must be included on entry forms and cannot be changed thereafter. Indicate use of AI in works. Identify any collaborations. All work submitted must be for sale. Works may not exceed 48" horizontally, must fit through a standard doorway, and must not exceed 50 lbs. All 2D work must be wired and ready to hang — no sawtooth hangers. No wet work. Hand delivery only to gallery July 1–2 (no shipping).
